An Apple a Day Really Does Improve Your Health

Researchers at the University of Massachusetts, at Lowell recently did a study using mice. They found that mice with an Alzheimer's-like disease navigated through a maze as well as healthy mice when they were given the equivalent of two glasses of antioxidant-rich apple juice every day.

They also believe that these findings will also work for humans -- a cup of juice or one apple per day will have a similar effect.

Apple juice is not a good substitute for fresh apples because of the added sugar and other sweeteners.
