History of acupuncture

Acupuncture has been known and used since 4000 up to 5000 years ago. Originally only used acupuncture to relieve pain, but eventually evolved into a way to treat various diseases. Science is one of the acupuncture traditional chinese medicine has been growing rapidly, not only the country of origin but has been used widely in various Asian countries, Europe and the United States.

In 1975, WHO became a sponsor for the implementation of additional education of acupuncture that has been established in various cities in China and attended by more than 1000 doctors from various countries. Similar education has also been practiced in countries such as Colombo (Sri Lanka), United Kingdom, United States, Canada and others. Until now, acupuncture has been known throughout the world
