Simple Oily Skin Care

Oily Skin Care
Oil production in the skin is stimulated by the production of hormones and what is causing the fluctuations in hormones can cause the skin becomes too oily. For women, hormonal changes occur during puberty but not only at the beginning of each menstrual cycle, during pregnancy and also during menopause.

Oily skin may also be your genes. It is a genetic mechanism to help protect their skin from high solar radiation. Hormones influence your skin to a large extent

The basic aim of 'oily skin care' is the removal of excessive sebum or oil from the skin. However, oily skin care procedures should not lead to complete elimination of oil. 'Oily skin care' starts with using a cleanser. However, not all cleansers will work. You need a cleanser that contains salicylic acid ie a beta-hydroxy acids that slow the rate of sebum production.

Oily skin is caused by the sebaceous glands produce too much oil, resulting in a thick patch of fat on the face. Oily skin occurs most often in people in their teens because of shifts in hormone levels.

Knowing whether you include oily skin is very important, whether you have oily or normal skin types. Check your face carefully. Did you see the large pores, or redness? Each can show different skin types or be an indicator of oily skin.

If you have oily skin in some places, but not elsewhere, it is important to wash your hands right after you have touched the parts of oily skin. This is because, if you have oil in your hands and you touch your face as you spread oil and dirt to the face and now you are likely to develop acne in there.
