Aromatherapy Bath Recipes

Use essential oils in these recipes - Unless otherwise stated.

After you have made your recipe, store it in an air-tight container. Most of the recipes last about 21 days. Pour six to eight drops in your bath to get the desired effect. The therapies can also be inhaled, but only if you are fimiliar with this method.


Almond Bath Oil - Use four ounces of almond oil and two drops of perfume oil, mix together and let it sit over night. Add this oil mix to your bath for soft smooth skin.


Reduce Stress - Three drops of orange, two drops of lavender, two drops of ylang-ylang, one drop of clary sage. Put the oils in your warm bath water and lay back for about 20 or 30 minutes to feel the effects.


For Sore Muscle Relief - Use three drops lavender, two drops German and Roman chamomile, one drop each of: rosemary,juniper and peppermint essential oils. Put the oils in your bath water and sit and soak for about half an hour.


Rejuvenation and Skin Conditioner - Use 12 drops of lavender, six of ylang-ylang and three drops each of palmarosa and geraniun oils. Put the recipe in an air-tight container.


Get a Good Nights Sleep - Use nine drops german oil, nine drops lavender and six drops of neroli oil. Mix together and store it in an air-tight container.


Uplift Your Spirits! - Use nine drops of orange oil, six drops each of neroli and lavender and three drops of lemon oil.


Relax and Calm Yourself  Use 20 drops each of lavender and orange oils, 10 drops of Roman chamomile, six drops of ylang-ylang and four drops of clary sage oil.
Citrus Spring Fling - Use six drops each of cedar woods and mandarin, four drops of lavender and one teaspoon of jojoba oil.
