Make Your Skin Glow The Easy Way

What are the FAQ of glowing skin? The answers are simple.

Eat More Fruit - You can choose healthy foods for glowing skin. When you eat fruit instead of cookies and candy, you not only keep your weight more under control, you are eliminating the after effects of too much sweets. A diet with too much refined sugars will cause a myriad of problems to your body and to the overall look of your skin. Wrinkles, muscle loss, stiff joints and inflammation are a few of the adverse effects of consuming too much sugar (and fried foods).
Baked Not Fried - When you choose your meals, opt for bake or steamed foods instead of fried, smoked or roasted. These foods will cause almost the same adverse effects of eating too much sugar.

Get More Exercise - Get your body moving. A sedentary lifestyle will cause stiff joints, unqualified hunger, a large body among other ill effects. Plenty of exercise will help to release toxins that can dull your skin and possibly cause breakouts, and it can lead to a more positive body image. We all know that exercise has many more positive effects on your overall health and appearance.

Avoid the Sun - The sun causes damage that may be irreversible. Direct sun should be avoided between the hours of 10AM and 2PM. Sunscreen or sun block should be used no matter what time you are outside, even on cloudy days or when there is snow covering the ground. Skin cancer is a possibility if you spend too much time in direct sunlight, especially without proper protection.

Recipes for homemade facial masks to get glowing skin are really simple and easy.

Overnight Skin Treatments For Glowing Skin -

Use tomatoes. Rub a tomato slice on your skin or you can use pure tomato juice or tomato paste. Rub it on, let it sit for about 20 minutes and then wash it off. The tomatoes help to remove dead dry skin so that your fresh new skin is revealed and when the light hit that new skin -- you simply glow.

Drinking tomato juice and eating more tomatoes will help to brighten skin. The tomatoes block the sun from darkening the skin cells.

Rub a raw potato slice on your dark spots and all over you skin to lighten dark spots.

Wash your face with a paste made with powdered milk and rub it on your skin. Leave it on for 20 minutes or longer then wash it off. The milk will make your skin softer, smoother, brighter and it will get rid of the layer(s) of dead skin and this will make your skin appear lighter as well as brighter.

Use a cotton pad to apply lemon juice mixed with water to your skin. This is very effective and this method will also make your skin lighter.

The suggestions above are all for overnight skin treatments for glowing skin. Do them at night before you go to bed.

All of these natural skin remedies not only make your skin more beautiful - they will also keep wrinkles away for a long time because you are constantly removing old, dead skin cells. This is the easy way to reveal the newer younger looking skin underneath. These are easy anti wrinkle skin care products - you can know exactly what you are putting on your face and body.

Skin Care Recipes - Using Ingredients in Your Home and Garden

Use Cucumber Slices and Peels to Instantly Cool Hot Skin  If you have been in the sun for too long or on the ski slopes all day, your skin is HOT and begging for cool relief. Put some Cool cumber slices or peels on the affected area(s).  You will not only get instant relief, the cucumber is also softening and moisturizing your skin and this will help to combat the wrinkles which are the sure result of over-exposure to the sun, wind, cold and heat.
If you use the cucumber peelings, make sure to watch out for the sharp edges.

Your skin will greatly benefit from a daily application of milk  Soak a cotton ball in milk and dab it on your just washed skin, do not avoid the eye area (just make sure your eyes are tightly closed), after you have applied the milk to your entire face and neck area, Rinse Thoroughly.  The fat in the milk is a great moisturizer and skin softener that will give your skin a nice youthful look and feel. Use whole milk if you have normal to dry skin, if you have oily skin, it may be best for you if you use low fat or skim milk.

Wrinkle Prone Skin Will Greatly Benefit From This Centuries Old Recipe  Blend one egg yolk with one tablespoon of honey, 1/4 teaspoon of almond oil and one tablespoon of plain yogurt.  Pat mixture over your entire face and neck area.  Leave the mixture on for 20 minutes and rinse thoroughly with warm water.  Because of the mess from this it will be better to use this right before your shower or bath.  When you use it before your bath or shower, you can apply the mixture over more parts of your body.
For Normal to Oily Skin  Make a paste using 1/4 cup of non-fat dry milk and one teaspoon of water.  Massage the paste into your skin using gentle strokes.  After a few minutes, rinse thoroughly.  You can also make enough to apply to your whole body before your bath or shower.  You entire body will feel soft and smooth.
Use Egg White to Remove Dirt.  To remove dirt and dead skin, smooth egg white over the clean skin of your face and neck area.  After the egg white has dried, rinse your face thoroughly with warm water.  Your skin will feel smoother and it will look refreshed.

Oatmeal will Soften, Soothe & Smooth Your Skin  If you want really soft and smooth skin use oatmeal.  Mix enough oatmeal with water to make a paste.   After you have let the mixture set for a few minutes, apply it to your skin.  You can let it dry or you can wash it off while it is still wet.  To get an even better effect, use a cotton ball to rub the oatmeal in your skin.  The cotton ball will remove even more dirt than if you use only your fingers.  You can also use a clean wash cloth, but I usually use a cotton ball or pad.
You can also use the oatmeal as an all over skin treatment.  While you are in the shower, apply the oatmeal mixture over your entire body.  You can use the oatmeal in the place of you regular soap.  The natural oil in the oatmeal will also moisturize your skin.
If you put the oatmeal in the blender, it will turn into a fine powder, you can use this power in many ways.  Sprinkle a little in your bath water, rub it onto your dry skin for instant relief...

Moisturize Your Dry Skin With a Banana  Mash one over-ripe banana with one teaspoon of almond meal and two tablespoons of plain yogurt.  Spread the mixture on your face and neck and leave it on for 10 minutes.  Rinse thoroughly with warm water.
Use Vaseline or Mineral Oil as Your Moisturizer.  Both are great as protection when you have been on the slopes or out in the icy cold.   Both of these are very heavy so it is best to use them at night.  To get this great protection, just apply it to your skin, wipe off with a cotton ball or pad and then reapply. In the morning wash you face as usual.  You can also use the Vaseline and mineral oil to soften and soothe your lips.

How to Get Lovely Skin

Wash your face with milk at night before you go to bed.

The acid in the milk will soon make your skin soft, dewey and [almost] blemish free.
Avoid doing this during the day because you should avoid direct sunlight after you wash your skin with milk.

Use whole milk if you have dry skin. Skim milk is best for oily skin.

You can also use powdered milk. Add some milk to your bath water for soft beautiful skin all over your body.

Some people make homemade skin bleach to whiten their skin, but, this will give you lovely (whiter) skin.

Be a natural beauty.
