Eye cancer


Eye cancer can occur anywhere in the eye where the tumor can grow. The most common types of cancer was found growing on the back of the eye. There are actually several types of ocular or eye cancer.
It has also been found that the occurrence of eye cancer patients varies according to age. Retinoblastoma is the most common type of cancer that occurs in children and intraocular melanoma is the most common type of cancer that occurs in adults.


Retinoblastoma, intraocular, extra-ocular, ocular recurrent cancer can actually occur anytime between the intra-ocular this very rare cancer. Intraocular cancer is the only type of cancer that develops in an isolated part of the eye and the tumor will be located at the back of the eye. This type of cancer can be improved through eye surgery. Retinoblastoma is the second biggest cancer suffered by children, after leukemia.
Not only lead to blindness, cancer of the eye is also capable of causing death. But by early indications, the sufferer has a high life expectancy.
