Tea Healty or Danger?

Tea, a drink that comes from the land of china is a popular beverage worldwide number 2 after coffee. Besides having a distinctive taste, it turns out tea also has lots of property to maintain our health. There have been many studies conducted to find out more benefits of tea. 

Chemical Content of Leaves Tea Leaves contain caffeine (2-3%), theobromin, theofilin, tannins, xathine, adenine, essential oils, quercetin and natural fluoride. Every 100 grams of tea leaves has 17 calories kj and contain 75-80% water, 25% polyphenols, 20% protein, 4% carbohydrate, 2.5 to 4.5% caffeine, 27% fiber, and 6% pectin. 


One well-known properties of tea is the antioxidant content in tea that works to slow cell aging and prevent cancer. Another example of the function of tea is in China, for instance, green tea is used as a home remedy to heal wounds or prevent skin diseases and diseases due to athlete's foot.
