Maggie Li for Glossybox

This September Glossybox brings us another special edition surprise! Instead of the usual pale pink, we are treated to a beautiful mint green box, adorned with peach and white graphics. This was designed by the very talented illustrator, Maggie Li. Maggie is a freelance artist based in London and creates the most gorgeous layered prints and graphics, definitely check out her website!

The theme for this box surrounds the topic of 'rising stars', focusing on new and exciting beauty products to hit the market, as well as a few old classics. So, what's inside?

1. Lady Gaga 'Fame' Fragrance: This is the first beauty product ever released by Lady Gaga and she went all out by creating a one of a kind perfume. The liquid is actually black but once airborne turns transparent - meaning it wont stain your clothes! The scent really is lovely and I can see myself popping the full size on my Christmas list! It's heavy and sweet with deep floral notes. A great one for anyone who loves those 'evening appropriate' scents.

2. Rodial Glamoxy Snake Serum & 5 Minute Facial: These samples have already been pinched by my mum so she will be the guinea pig for me! They promise to deliver instantly visible results by reducing the appearance of frown lines and wrinkles. With two samples of each, there's plenty to get a jist of the products.

3. Balance Me Wonder Eye Cream: I love samples of eye creams in my Glossybox as you only ever need a tiny amount - making them last forever! This one is designed to sooth tired eyes, smooth away dark shadows and reduce the appearance of fine lines. Not to mention it's 99% natural!

4. Olay Regenerist Wrinkle Relaxing Complex: This wonder cream claims to instantly smooth over the look of fine lines and over time, helps reduce the appearance of wrinkles.

5. L'Oreal Professionnel Mythic Oil 'Rich Oil': Hooray! A full size product! And this lovely hair oil is worth over £15. The oil contains argan oil and rice bran oil giving you nourished hair with a lightweight feel. We are also treated to sachets of the matching Shampoo and Conditioner to try, which are new extensions of the Mythic Oil range.

I think if it wasn't for the full size Mythic Oil from L'Oreal in this months box, I would have been a little disappointed. Not such a fan of lots of sachets and perfume samples in my beauty boxes but I think the cute design by Maggie Li outweighs that! It really is pretty and a great storage box for nail polishes or makeup. Are you signed up to Glossybox yet? Let me know your opinions below.
