Difference Vitamins and Minerals

Everyone needs vitamins and minerals in particular. Therefore in milk packaging has always included nutritional vitamins and minerals. So what exactly is mineral and what distinguishes vitamin with minerals?
Minerals are a group of micronutrients for the body. This means that nutrients are only needed in small amounts to support the growth and blossoms of your body.

- Many consider that the same vitamins with minerals. Whereas in the chemical structure of these nutrients have a different shape once did have some similar functions. Some of the differences between vitamins and minerals are:

- Minerals included in the inorganic elements. This means that minerals can retain its shape after entry into the body. If the vitamin can be damaged by heat, acid or any other process, it is not a mineral that has a strong structure and is not easily broken.

- The structure will change as vitamins into the body. The body does not absorb vitamins in its initial form, it is absorbed in the form of pro-vitamin (vitamin are not yet active). While the mineral can not be changed emjadi other elements. For example, Fe (iron) can combine with other elements to form compounds thereof, but the iron will not turn into another element.

- When it gets into the body, will carry out their duties mineral helps metabolize without going through other processes. For example, magnesium is directly absorbed for relaxation of muscles and nerves. Iron for red blood cell formation. Calcium to nourish the bones and teeth and many other essential minerals for good health.

- The process is also different from the absorption of minerals, especially vitamin treatment in terms of number and in your body. This is because the vitamin is readily soluble in water and fat, while the mineral is not water-soluble and fat.
