The Benefits of Drinking Green Tea

People have been drinking tea for centuries but the last decade have opened our eyes to some of the benefits of this powerful leaf. Thanks to scientific research, drinking tea has recently been labeled as the next best thing to drinking water.

The health benefits of tea are numerous whether it is green tea - black tea - orange or any kind. Some of the benefits of drinking tea are:

Protection against heart disease

Tea reduces cavities and gum disease

Promotes weight loss

Tea helps to lower your blood pressure

Tea reduces the risks of some cancers

After you have brewed your tea and you have the spent tea leaves just sitting there, don't throw them in the trash. Used tea leaves can be used to fertilize your plants.
