Almond Bath Oil

Use four ounces of almond oil and two drops of perfume oil, mix together and let it sit over night. Add this oil mix to your bath for soft smooth skin.


Always use essential oils in aromatherapy recipes, unless otherwise stated. After you have made your recipe, store it in an air-tight container.

Most of the recipes last about 21 days. Pour six to eight drops in your bath to get the desired effect. The therapies can also be inhaled, but you should inhale the aromatherapies only if you are fimiliar with this method.

Body Scrubs Masks to Make Your Skin Silky Smooth

Almond Body Scrub
1 pound of glycerin soap base, 3 tablespoons of very finely chrushed almonds and 2 teaspoons of peach fragrance oil. Melt the glycerine soap base on low heat. Remove from the heat and let it cool then put it in a decorative container.

Smoothing Body Mask
It is best to make this mask right before your bath or shower. You need - 5 tablespoons of kelp, 6 tablespoons of clay, 4 tablespoons of arrowroot powder, 2 teaspoons of sweet almond oil, 2 1/2 cups of warm water. Mix the dry ingredients together, stir in the warm water and mix until smooth. Stir in the oil and mix well. Let it sit for 10 minutes to thicken. Apply a layer all over your body and leave it on for 30 minutes. After you rinse, apply lotion all over.

Body Scrub
4 teaspoons of finely ground almonds, 2 teaspoons of honey and 1 tablespoon of lemon juice. Mix all of the ingredients and take it into the shower with you. After you are clean, rub the Body Scrub all over your body. Rinse well and apply lotion.

For Sore Muscle Relief
Use three drops lavender, two drops German and Roman chamomile, one drop each of rosemary, juniper and peppermint essential oils. Put the oils in your bath water and sit and soak for about half an hour.

Body Polish
2 cups of fine sea salt, 3 drops of safflower oil, 5 drops of lavender essential oil, 5 drops of rosewood essential oil and a small-to-medium sized container. In your container add the sea salt then add the safflower oil. Add the 5 drops of lavender and rosewood oils and stir well to mix everything together. Let it sit for 30 minutes.

After you have mixed everything, it should look like wet sand. If you need to you can add more oil or sea salt. Use after your shower. Take some Body Shine and rub it all over your body. Rinse very well.

NOTE: The oils will make you tub slippery, so Use Extreme Caution. Make sure you have a bath mat in your shower when you use oils to prevent falling.

Get a Good Nights Sleep Use nine drops german oil, nine drops lavender and six drops of neroli oil. Mix together and store it in an air-tight container.

Uplift Your Spirits! Use nine drops of orange oil, six drops each of neroli and lavender and three drops of lemon oil.

Relax and Calm Yourself Use 20 drops each of lavender and orange oils, 10 drops of Roman chamomile, six drops of ylang-ylang and four drops of clary sage oil.

Citrus Spring Fling Use six drops each of cedar woods and mandarin, four drops of lavender and one teaspoon of jojoba oil.

Yogurt and Avacado Hand Therapy

Take one mashed avacado
1/2 cup of plain yogurt
The juice from one lemon
One pair of white cotton gloves and some olive oil.

Mix thoroughly, the avacado, yogurt and lemon juice in a medium container.  Put a generous amount all over your hands and leave it on for ten minutes.  Rinse your hands thoroughly.  After you have rinsed and dried your hands, apply a liberal amount of the olive oil.  Put on the white gloves and leave them on over-night. 


This treatment will gently slough of dead skin and the lemon juice will help to gradually fade any dark spots that you have.

NOTE: Do not use this anti-aging hand cream if you have sensitive skin or if you have any broken skin on your hands - because the lemon juice will cause a sting. 

Olive oil used alone is also an effective moisturizer. You can put it on your hands at night, covered with a pair of cotton gloves and in the morning, your hands will be lovely.

You can use the olive oil on your face and body for smooth silky skin.

Olive oil is also a great hair conditioner.

Honey Sugar Scrub

Make Sugar Scrub - Honey Sugar Hand, Feet and Body Scrub

1 small egg yolk,
1 teaspoon of honey
2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
1 tablespoons of brown or white sugar
2 drops of lemon essential oil

Place the egg yolk in a small bowl and break it up, add the honey and olive oil and stir it very well. Stir in the sugar. Add the essential oil last.

After all of the ingredients are mixed very well, massage it onto your clean damp hands and body. This sugar scrub recipe for honey hand and body cream is very effective if you have dull, dry cracked skin. Pay special attention to your cuticles, nail bed and in between your fingers. Rub it all over your feet to smoothe the dry skin. Stand on a towel so that you do not slip and fall. After about 5 minutes of massage -- rinse with warm water. After you have rinsed your entire body, apply moisturizer to your skin.

For each lip gloss recipe; Always melt all of the carrier oils, beewax, honey and butters over low heat. Allow the mixture to cool slightly, then add the flavored oils, vitamin E ... over low heat.

Add the essential oils last. Stir until all ingredients are well blended and pour into separate containers. Add lids after your recipes are completely cooled. You can always experiment with the amount of beeswax until you get the consistency that you desire.

For all of the recipes that include honey, you should continue to stir for as long as you can. This will allow the honey to disperse throughout the lip gloss. If any recipe come out too soft, add more beeswax; if it come out too hard, add more oil(s).


Apricot Lemon Lip Balm

Melt 1/4 cup of beeswax in a double boiler.

While constantly stirring, add 1/4 cup each of calendula and apricot kernel essential oils. Still stirring, remove from the heat. After the mix is partly cooled, add the essential oils and stir.

Store the finished lip balm in a glass container.
